Nektarios Karakasis was born in Thessaloniki, Greece, on January 12, 1989. He received the Diploma degree in 2011 from the Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering, Aristotle University of Thessaloniki, Greece. He is currently working towards the Ph.D. degree in the area of wind energy conversion systems optimization in the same Department. His research interests include renewable energy systems, electrical machines and drives, control optimization and embedded systems.
