Charis Demoulias

Charis Demoulias was born in Katerini, Greece, in 1961. He received his Diploma in Electrical Engineering from the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki, Thessaloniki, Greece, in 1984 and his Ph.D., degree from the same university in 1991.
From 1991 to 2003, he worked as a consultant in the areas of industrial electrical installations, electrical energy saving, and renewable energy sources.
He is, since 2003, lecturer with the Electrical Machines Laboratory, Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering in the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki. He teaches Power Electronics, Electrical Machines and Electric Drive Systems.
His research interests are in the fields of power electronics, harmonics, power quality, electric motion systems, and renewable energy sources.
